How can we help?

Answers to what students, guardians and staff ask most about the Afritech Institute System portal. Not finding yours? Chat with us on WhatsApp.

How do I get my login details?

Student accounts are created by the school when you are enrolled; guardian accounts are linked to your child's file; instructor accounts are created by the administration. Your username and first password are issued by the school office. If you never received yours, visit the office or contact us on WhatsApp.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in page, click "Lost your password?" and enter your username or email: a reset link is sent to the email address on your file. No email on file? The school office can reset your password and update your email.

What can I see in the Student Portal?

Your weekly timetable, verified grades, session-by-session attendance, your fee statement with payment history, and your official documents (admission letter, transcripts, attestations, receipts) as downloads.

How do guardians get access?

Each guardian account is linked to one or more students by the school. Ask the school office to create or link your guardian account, then sign in with the credentials they give you.

My grades or fees look wrong. Who do I contact?

The portal shows exactly what the school has recorded. If something looks off, contact the school office or your Department Head: once the record is corrected, the portal updates immediately.

How do I pay my fees?

Fees are payable by mobile money, bank deposit or cash on campus. Every payment is recorded by the bursar and appears in your portal with a downloadable receipt.

How do I verify a certificate or transcript?

Use the Verify a Document page: enter the code printed near the QR code on the document (it looks like AFR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), or simply scan the QR code with your phone.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Access is role-based (you only see your own records), connections are encrypted, and you can enable two-factor authentication on your profile for extra protection.

What is two-factor authentication and should I turn it on?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code from an authenticator app to your sign-in. We recommend it for all staff accounts and for any student who wants extra security. You can enable it from your profile once signed in.

Still stuck?

The school office answers quickly on WhatsApp, in French and English, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
